"It's ok to not be ok"
I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker and I received my Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from University of Illinois at Chicago (Jane Addams College of Social Work). I believe in holistic care work with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. I am also trained in Integrated Behavioral Health. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families wanting to address challenges pertaining to anxiety, boundaries, depression, relationships, and trauma, as well as their own personal growth and development. I have experience working with individuals of all cultural backgrounds in a variety of settings including treatment facilities, intensive outpatient programs, and managed care. I use therapeutic modalities based on the needs of my clients drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Trauma – Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
