My Story

I am a Masters level Therapist who is committed to partnering with clients to identify strategies that can help them work through life's difficulties. It does not matter the circumstances, situation, dilemma or problem, I am interested in working with you through your journey. I will honor your goals by using the appropriate evidenced based techniques to assist you in accomplishing them. I use an existential approach therapy while incorporating several other therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and a Strength-Based approach.

Often life can seem to be out of control and our choices seem to be limited. There is some truth to this only if we chose to accept it as such. We become more capable of making the appropriate choices once we become more aware of the situations we find ourselves in. If you decide to become my client, together we can explore the choices available to you and create the appropriate coping skills to help you through those seemly uncontrollable moments in your life. Whether we are experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, loss, unexpected events, or overwhelmed, we can work together to help you establish the control needed to live a more meaningful life. I offer a safe and confidential therapeutic environment where you can freely unpack the unwanted baggage of life.

I believe that everyone has a hard time sometimes, and I understand that engaging in effective treatment can help you get through it.
